By choosing Marcos Garcia -Wedding Officiant services for your wedding, the wedding couple agrees to the following.

(Going forward all instances of "we" or "our" will refer to the couple to be wed.)

Marriage License:  We understand that it is our responsibility to acquire a valid marriage license in the state where the wedding ceremony will take place and that the marriage license must be on the premises when the ceremony is performed. We understand that failure to have these legal documents means that Marcos Garcia, cannot legally perform the ceremony and is under no obligation to do so, regardless of the inconvenience it may cause. The officiant may at his discretion perform a symbolic ceremony, which will have no legal merit, and perform another ceremony in private for the couple once the legal documents are presented, for an additional fee. We will consult with the local court /city clerk to find the exact requirements for a wedding performed in the destined area.

Booking Fee: The booking fee is to reserve services for the date of the wedding. Booking fee is 50% of the agreed upon service fee or wedding package selected.

 

Refund Policy: We acknowledge that the 50% booking fee is non-refundable once contract payment is made and a wedding date has been set.  If we must change the date of our wedding it will be rescheduled on the new date if it is available. If our new date is not available, the change will be considered a cancellation and we will forfeit the booking fee. The amount paid, minus the 50% booking fee, will be refunded within 15 days of the original date of the ceremony should we cancel 15 days before the wedding date. For cancellations within 14 days of the wedding date, there will be no refund, and 100% of the payment will be forfeited including the booking fee. However, if Marcos Garcia cancels the wedding, we will receive a 100% refund of payment including the booking fee. Cancellation on Marcos' behalf will be issued in the form of a written letter/email within 24 hours of a verbal notice being given by Marcos.

Payment: Agreed upon fee or package fee must be paid in full before or upon first consultation. Acceptable payment options are PayPal, check/money order or cash.

Package Fees: Package fee includes a non-refundable 50% security booking fee.

An additional .60 cents per mile may be applied if the wedding is more than a 20 mile radius from Cody.

A fee of $100 will be added  to Weddings scheduled on the following Holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Package Fee does not include travel/lodging expenses, or additional charges (i.e. tolls, parking costs, etc) that may be incurred to officiate your wedding.

YELLOWSTONE PACKAGE DETAILS

Yellowstone Wedding Package is it's own package at one rate of $300 total, not including additional mileage charge.

This package fee does not include the non-refundable application fee of $75 or $100 required by the National Park Service to submit a request for your chosen Yellowstone National Park venue.

Yellowstone Wedding Package is not included in the standard Wedding package prices. 

 

Additionally: If we change the date of our wedding the following rules will apply: If Marcos Garcia  has the new date available he will simply change the date and re-reserve it under the new date. However, if Marcos is already obligated for the new date and is unable to officiate our wedding on the new date, it will be considered a cancellation, if the wedding is cancelled within 14 days or less before the wedding there will be no refund and Marcos is relieved of all responsibilities set forth in this contract.

Marcos Garcia agrees to be at or arrive at the wedding address or location listed on the contract at the agreed upon time for your wedding ceremony. We understand that we must adhere to these times, but Marcos does understand weddings do not always go as planned and will accommodate for weddings that start later than scheduled as his schedule permits. Marcos allows for a 60 minute block of time for the wedding ceremony to give plenty of time and give room for unexpected delays but we understand we must try to stick to our contracted time.

In the event that Marcos Garcia is unable to attend and perform the services as planned due to cancellation on his part, hospitalization, auto accident, transportation breakdown/disruption, traffic difficulties or other unforeseen incapacitation on the day of the ceremony, Marcos will provide a 100% refund.

Returned Payments: We understand if any payments are returned by Marcos' financial institution, we will be responsible for an additional $50 collection fee plus bank fees that may be charged by Marcos' financial institution. Should any unpaid balances remain or payment is sought through a collection agency we will be held responsible for full collection agency costs and any additional costs to collect payment. In addition we are responsible for any fees our own financial institution may impose.

All parties agree that this Agreement is the sole binding agreement, relating to the performance or officiating of the wedding ceremony, between all parties involved and may only be altered, amended, or invalidated by a separate written agreement executed by all parties to this original agreement. No verbal, non-written, or other informal agreement shall apply or be held binding to either party.

This Agreement shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming.

Payment made in full or if arranged at 50% (check, money order, cash, or PayPal) will be considered an automatic agreement of these terms of service.
